ManagementDaniel Simoncini Chief Executive Officer Mr. Simoncini has been a Director and Chief Executive Officer of Foraco since incorporation. Prior to his involvement with the company, Mr. Simoncini held various senior management positions with other entities. From 1994 to 1997, Mr. Simoncini was Chief Executive Officer of Technoplus Industries SA, a subsidiary of the French Atomic Bureau (CEA), dealing with nuclear power systems components. From 1982 to 1994, Mr. Simoncini held various positions in Comex group of companies, predecessor to Acergy SA, listed on the NASDAQ. During his carrer, he managed several offshore construction projects, then lead a deepwater R&D programme and became Vice President of Business Development; he ended up as VP of the EMEA Region. Mr. Simoncini is a Professional Engineer and holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Ensam University in Paris, France. Jean-Pierre Charmensat Vice Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Charmensat has been a Director and Executive Officer of Foraco since incorporation. Prior to his involvement with the company, Mr. Charmensat held various senior management positions with other entities. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Charmensat was Chief Financial Officer of the LOHR group in France, a worldwide specialist in the design and manufacture of transportation systems. From 1990 to 1995, Mr. Charmensat served as Chief Financial Officer of Stolt Comex Seaway SA, predecessor to Acergy SA, listed on the NASDAQ. From 1975 to 1990, Mr. Charmensat held various financial management positions in France and Chile with Spie-Batignolles, a group of international engineering and construction companies. Mr. Charmensat holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pantheon Sorbonne in France, and a Master of Economics from the University of Aix en Provence in France. Timothy Bremner Senior Vice President and General Manager Mr. Bremner has more than 25 years of experience in global drilling operations. He has been with Foraco since July 2006 and is based in North Bay, Ontario. Mr. Bremner is responsible for Foraco's start-up operations in eastern Canada and its western Canadian operations, established through the recent acquisition of Kamloops, B.C. based Connors Drilling. Mr. Bremner is also involved in building Foraco’s presence in the U.S. Prior to joining Foraco, Mr. Bremner held several senior management positions between 1990 and 2006 with Boart Longyear Inc., a global drilling services provider based in Utah, including Director of Sales and Marketing, Regional General Manager and Vice President of Drilling Services. From 1988 to 1990, Mr. Bremner acted as General Manager at Logan Drilling Group, a drilling company based in Nova Scotia. He began his career in the drilling industry with Longyear Canada Inc. in 1981. Mr. Bremner holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mining Engineering from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario. Ibrahim Baderi VP Africa Operations Mr. Baderi joined Foraco in 2003, as the General Manager of the Niger Branch. Since 2008, he has supervised all of Foraco’s African operations. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Baderi held various management positions with Compagnie Minière d’Akouta (Cominak), a subsidiary of Areva operating in Niger. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Baderi worked as the Purchasing Manager of Cominak and from 1995 to 1999, he worked as the Maintenance Manager. From 1991 to 1994, he was responsible for carrying out the maintenance of mine infrastructures for Cominak. Mr. Baderi holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Ensam University in Paris, France. Philippe Violle VP Engineering and Technical Services Mr. Violle has been in charge of Foraco’s engineering and technical services since the year 2000. Prior to his involvement with Foraco, Mr. Violle held various senior technical positions with a number of other companies. From 1995 to 2000, Mr. Violle was in charge of the engineering department of Technoplus Industries SA, a subsidiary of the French Atomic Bureau (CEA). From 1985 to 1995, Mr. Violle founded the company Aria, an international specialist in the design and manufacturing of special machinery for various industries. He started his career as an oil well test supervisor in Indonesia for Flopetrol, a subsidiary of Schlumberger SA. Mr. Violle is a professional Engineer and holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Ensam University in Paris, France, as well as a Master of Management from the University of Aix en Provence, France. Eric Déru Group Human Resources Manager Mr. Déru was appointed as Group Human Resources Manager for Foraco in January 2008. Prior to his involvement with the company, Mr. Déru held various positions with other entities. In 2000, Mr. Déru moved to Compass Group, a worldwide leader in food catering services. Here, he held a number of positions in Human Resources in France, Africa and Kazakhstan, until 2007. From 1994 to 1999, Mr. Déru served as the Head of the Human Resources Department at different plants with the company Péchiney. From 1991 to 1993, Mr. Déru worked with Coca Cola Beverages, as Human Resources Manager. From 1989 to 1990, Mr. Déru was the Human Resources assistant for Sony France. Mr. Déru holds a Masters in Human Resources from the Assas University in Paris, France. Laurence Girard In-House Counsel Mrs. Girard joined Foraco as In-House Counsel in 2008. She previously worked as In-House Counsel for Technip, a group of international engineering and construction companies in the oil and gas industry. From 2001 to 2004, Mrs. Girard worked as a lawyer for the Clifford Chance office in France. From 1997 to 2001, Mrs. Girard also worked as a lawyer in France and in California for Gibson Dunn & Crutcher. Mrs Girard graduated from the University of San Diego with a LLM in International Taxation and International Law. She also holds a LLM in International Economic Law from the University of Paris Pantheon-Sorbonne and a diploma from the Institut d‘Etudes Politiques. Fabien Sevestre Financial Controller Since 2007, Mr. Sevestre has supervised the Corporate Accounting and Control Department at Foraco. Mr. Sevestre joined Foraco as a Cost Controller in 2001, in charge of the company’s South American and European operations. Prior to his involvement with the company, from 2000 to 2001, Mr. Sevestre worked as an auditor for Fidulor in France, a subsidiary of Grant Thornton. Mr. Sevestre holds a DECF (chartered accountant) from the Technical University of Montpellier.
